LEARNING AND PARTICIPATION

Yaram's learning and participation programme is designed to inspire and engage people of all ages and cultures

YARAM'S LEARNING AND PARTICIPATION PROGRAMME IS DESIGNED TO ENGAGE, EDUCATE, UPSKILL AND INSPIRE PEOPLE OF ALL AGES ON AFRICAN CULTURE, TRADITION AND HISTORY

We run term-time school workshops in London Newham, Islington, Hackney and beyond in dance, drumming, storytelling, lullaby songs and masquerade activities.  Our ambition is to decolonise and enrich the schools music curriculum by introducing innovative creativities for children and young people.

We collaborate with higher learning institutes, experts and artists to share knowledge and deliver memorable experiences for participants and audiences through heritage & legacy lectures, seminars and exhibitions.

We deliver outreach cultural activities in community and public spaces to engage with older and more diverse audiences.

You can also contact us to deliver a tailored private, community, corporate or commercial event at a reasonable fee.
